Hello, My name is Katie. I am a mixed media artist based in Ottawa, Ontario. I began drawing as a teenager, and have ben a primarily self-tought artist for the last 23 years. I began learning about and taking mixed media courses in 2003. This opened up a whole new world to me. This medium has given me the opportunity to combine my love of colours, textures, drawing and photography. I am inspired by nature, people and world cultures.
